1. La Jolla Biltmore Hotel

Although this hotel is on the “cheaper” end it offers a lot for those who are looking for affordable nights stay. This hotel offers a 24-hour front desk service, vending machines, as well as a microwave and a small refrigerator in your room. Mosty importantly though, this La Jolla Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and complimentary free WiFi.
Things to do around here: This hotel is only a short 5-minute walk away from the La Jolla beaches. If you are visiting this hotel then you may also want to stop by the famous Sea World to see Shamu make a big splash.

Things to do around here: Go for a hike at Torrey Pines and enjoy a beautiful sunset here.
7. Grande Colonial Hotel

Reasons why to stay: Established in 1913, the Grande Colonial Hotel, has recently received an upgrade. This hotel has “modernized” all their guestrooms, but has kept the exterior to its original look.

Things to do around here: As previously mentioned, you really don’t need to leave this resort in order for you to feel like you are on vacation. But, if you choose to leave the resort then another fun place to head to would be La Jolla playhouse located on the campus of UCSD. Some of the musicals from here have gone on to be Broadway shows.
